
Isabel Woodings is a visual media composer and multi-instrumentalist, who composes music in a diverse range of genres for bespoke usage in TV, Film, Games, Animation, Galleries and Installations. With a background as a classical saxophonist, vocalist and pianist, she endeavours to bring a unique perspective to each project.
Isabel graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree in Film Music Composition from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
A recent highlight includes working as a composer assistant for the TV Series ‘A Certain Quality of Light’, produced by Naf+, commissioned by Greek TV, and is now streaming on Ertflix.
Isabel has also collaborated with a wide variety of clients, the most recent including the The National Gallery, Barbican Centre, RAM Records, UKF, The Courtauld Gallery, Illuminated River Foundation/ City of London, Norfolk & Norwich Festival and The Royal Parks.
She has worked with numerous filmmakers, directors and animators, including those from institutions such as the Met Film School, London Film Academy (LFA), Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), University for the Creative Arts (UCA), University of the Arts London (UAL) and the Royal College of Art (RCA). Many of these films have gone on to have successful film festival runs, achieving many nominations and awards. In particular, Isabel has just won an award for Best Soundtrack for the short film ‘Walking Fernando’, which features Javier Bardem as a voice actor on this short film.
She has also recently produced multiple string trio arrangements of popular songs for the candlelit Lumos Live concerts.
